THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHEMICAL VAPOR DISPOSITION AND SYNTHETIC DIAMOND (RVD)

Both synthetic diamond RVD and chemical vapor disposition CVD are synthetic diamonds but differ in the way of their production and functionality.

SYNTHETIC DIAMOND (RVD MESH)

Synthetic Diamond (RVD) is a refined abrasive of synthetic diamonds with a definite yet irregular crystal shape. It is ideal for use in less-load applications where they need strong cutting characteristics. It is crafted for use in carbon, electroplated, resin, and solid bond materials.

RVD diamond grit is designed for applications in grinding, lapping, polishing, and fine finishing. It is an extremely efficient abrasive for the handling of gems, glass, ceramics, tungsten carbide, electrical parts, PCD and PCBN devices. RVD diamond is also used for several hand handling tasks and various types of glasses. RVDmesh manufacturers consider it as an excellent self-forming and a material with high resistance.

CHEMICAL VAPR DISPOSITION (CVD)

Some diamonds are extracted from the ground, and some are human-made diamonds made from above ground CVD diamonds. Unlike natural diamonds that take billions of years to shape deep under the surface of the Earth, chemical vapor disposition diamonds (CVD) are produced in laboratories. CVD diamonds accurately rely on a specific process called chemical vapor deposition.

You may name them "synthetic," but don't let the world trick you. CVD diamonds are almost similar to the extracted diamonds that have to be excavated from the Earth, from their internal atomic composition to the way they gleam on your palm. CVD diamonds look like "natural" diamonds. Even a trained jeweler can be failed in identifying the difference. In fact, even a trained jeweler can be collapsed in determining the difference.

The expense of extracting diamonds from the Earth well exceeds dollars. The environmental and ethical concerns linked to diamond mining are having a significant adverse effect worldwide. Often known as "conflict diamonds" (or even "blood diamonds"), mined diamonds can be traded illegally to finance conflict in war-torn areas.
